WCPE is listener supported community radio at its best!

Our Mission is to Share Great Classical Music. We do that 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; over the air, via satellite, through our affiliates, and on the internet.

We are non-commercial, and are recognized at both the state and federal level as a non-profit organization . Your contributions will be tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by your individual circumstances.

We do not receive funding from any university or government agency. WCPE is 100% listener supported!

We conduct two major over the air fundraising campaigns each year - our Spring Festival (usually near the end of March) and our Fall Festival (usually near the end of October). We use these occasions to encourage Listeners to become Members, so that they can support the organization that brings them the Great Classical Music they love.

Throughout the year we send newsletters to our Members, keeping them informed about the station and asking them to continue and extend their Membership.

There is no minimum contribution to qualify for a Membership in WCPE. And, we will be happy to set up a donation as a series of payments (monthly, quarterly, or however you wish) to be paid by check, or via a credit or debit card.

Each donation over $25 entitles the Member to a one year subscription to Quarter Notes, our Member Magazine. Published quarterly, each issue contains program listings for three months, information on CDs, articles about, or interviews with, composers or performing artists, plus much more. We are happy to send Members a Thank You Gift when they make a donation to support Great Classical Music on WCPE. Some of our Thank You Gifts educate, entertain, and inform people about the wonderful music we play every day. Others will show your friends and neighbors that you support WCPE. In general we offer a new selection of CD Thank You Gifts each Spring and each Fall. But, we are constantly looking for new items that our Members will enjoy. So, even if you have visited our Thank You Gift page in the past, you might want to visit regularly to see what's new.

If you work for, or are retired from, a Matching Gift Company your employer may match all or part of your donation. This is a great way for you to instruct your employer to direct their charitable contributions to organizations that are important to you. And, of course, WCPE benefits, too.

WCPE will not share the names, addresses or other personal information about our Members (or former Members) with any other organization. You can read our Privacy Policy here.

Members can opt out of their subscription to Quarter Notes. Members may also request that we mail them fewer, or even none, of our newsletters. Members can call or write our Member Services Department to set up or change the mailings they receive from WCPE.
